Read MoreI’m usually pretty late to the party when it comes to trends of any kind - the last to read, buy, or watch just about anything. But I’m proud to feel apart of the crowd this time around because I finished “Tidying Up With Marie Condo” on Netflix earlier this week and many people are starting and finishing the series right along with me.
Read MoreIt’s been a while since I’ve sat down and shared a few things about myself for you all to enjoy. I love being really transparent and open and I truly get a kick out of answering some of the silly questions that linger around in the cybersphere waiting to be answered. So I thought on this fine evening, I’d sit down and take part in the 100 Questions Tag that has gone around the internet one or two times.
Read MoreYou know that feeling of nostalgia for places you’ve been?
Lately I’ve been feeling a little homesick for Scotland - particularly Glasgow, Scotland. I lived and worked there for a year when I was getting my Master’s degree from Strathclyde Uni.
Glasgow is such a unique city. In my opinion, it’s about as authentically Scottish as you can get. I always tell people that Edinburgh is what we want Scottish culture to be, Glasgow is what it actually is. And while I’ll always love Edinburgh as my first true love, the roughness and realness of Glasgow will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Read MoreI love creating content. I’ve always been creative, but when I discovered my love of writing at University and started documenting my life on my first blog, I realized that I love telling stories for the world to hear (or read). If I’m honest, I’ve always loved telling stories. My parents say that I used to stand up in public places as a little child and tell stories to the whole room. I guess things haven’t changed much since then, have they?
Read MoreEthan and I rarely sit still - especially during the weekend. We both love adventure and now that he’s made it his mission to always keep me in fresh supply of things to blog about, we take a lot of weekend trips. This past weekend found us in Dayton, Ohio. A small city about four hours south of us in the state where my Momma grew up.
Read MoreEveryone is entitled to their opinion. Everyone has the right to be wrong or right, to agree with the masses and to stand alone for what they believe.
One thing that I’m pretty well known for is having A LOT of opinions, and not always the most popular ones.
Read MoreI’ve been very fortunate over the last three years. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting a dozen new countries and dozens of new cities since my Junior year at Uni. Some thanks to school and many just for fun. I truly live to travel. As soon as I caught the travel bug back in 2015 with my first abroad trip to Scotland, I was absolutely hooked and I haven’t stopped since.
Read MoreI'm just another Millennial taking on life one cup of coffee at a time. My blog Espresso Myself is a place for me to be me, for myself, and for everyone else. Write on!
