Thanks Maple Holistics For My Silk18 Conditioner - From Me and My Hair

One of the COOLEST perks of doing this is the occasional opportunity to work with some really rad companies and brands to showcase their awesome products.

I've done product reviews before on my blog, so many of you know the drill. I try and be as authentic and genuine as possible when shouting out to a company. I don’t always have nice things to say - just look at Thursday’s post. I want you all to know my honest thoughts so you can make the best judgement for yourself about what to try and buy.

Having that little disclaimer out of the way, let's jump right into the product for today, shall we?

Maple Holistics is a really cool and ethical company based in New Jersey. They pride themselves on making cruelty-free products that are also bottled in recycled materials. How awesome is that? I'm always in search of new ethical brands to fill my cabinets with because every little bit helps, right? They also formulate their products naturally, which I've always been a big proponent of. I truly believe we put too many unnatural chemicals on our skin and hair. So, all-in-all, I'm a big fan of these guys. You can read all about the things their doing and read more about the different types of products you should be using for your hair and skin type on their website and blog.

Now for the product I've had the pleasure of using for the last week and a half: their Silk18 Conditioner, which they so kindly gifted to me.

I've tried nearly every brand on the shelves for my hair. I have super thick, super straight hair. Many womens’ dream locks, sure, but it can be a lot to manage without weighing it down. I also have a relatively brassy hair color - it's a sandy, ash-blonde and other than my hair-lightening phase in high school, it always has been. So, it doesn’t always have the prettiest sheen in certain light.

Having tried as many products as I have over the years, I can honestly say that I absolutely LOVE this stuff and so does my hair. My first impression was of how nice I think it smells. I can't really pin point what I think it smells like. I told my momma that it just smells tasty! This conditioner has the most pleasant sweet, almost candy-like scent. You can't go wrong with it and I have a pretty picky nose, to be honest.

I've been using this product on my hair now every day for over a week and I have noticed a serious difference! My hair has never been so shiny and manageable! It doesn't weigh my hair down, but somehow manages to keep it from getting as tangled (which, believe me, it does). This new conditioner might not have "changed my life," as it is only just conditioner after all, but it most definitely HAS changed my hair. I imagine I'll be having quite a few more good hair days thanks to these folks.

I'm genuinely so excited about this new conditioner and I can't thank Maple Holistics enough for sending it my way. Honestly, friends, if you're looking for some new ethical and natural beauty products, I'd give any of their products a go.

If you're interested in giving some of this wonderful new conditioner (or any of their products) a try, you can easily get them on Amazon. Convenient, eh?

If I were a professional reviewer or some kind of beauty guru, I’d definitely give this conditioner my signature stamp of approval. But since I’m not, all I can say is that I’m so grateful for the gift and I will absolutely be buying more of their conditioner, and probably loads of other things from Maple Holistics in the future - and you should, too.
